The experience
The experience

Build a business the way you make wine.

3 days. 2 nights. 10 entrepreneurs. A cuvée that takes time to build.

What if entrepreneurship had more in common with a great cuvée than with a three-year plan?

Terroir matters. So does patience. The choice of a grape, the art of blending, the years spent in the cellar before the bottle speaks, and the simple idea that you plant for those who come after. For three days, Satkāra Society brings together a small circle of entrepreneurs in the heart of Franciacorta to explore these parallels between the art of wine and the art of building a business.

The spirit of the experience

The cellar as a starting point. Wine will be our common thread. At Bellavista, the house of the Moretti family that helped make Franciacorta one of Italy’s great sparkling wine regions, you learn to read an estate: the soil, the climate, the gesture, the time. Over a glass, those same notions become something to talk about.

What are you really cultivating? When do you harvest, when do you let things ripen? What do you blend, and with whom? And above all: what do you want to pass on?

Business conversations take place between tastings, around a table or among the vines: here, conversation is never separate from experience.

Four dimensions for rethinking how you build
01 — TERROIR

Knowing where you come from. Positioning, identity, roots: like a vine, a company draws its singularity from the soil it grows in.

02 — PATIENCE

Letting time do its work. A great wine spends years in the cellar before it is poured: knowing how to wait, resisting urgency, choosing the right moment.

03 — BLENDING

Composing with others. A cuvée is born of different plots, grape varieties and vintages: surrounding yourself, partnering, balancing without losing your signature.

04 — LEGACY

Building for those who follow. A vine is planted for twenty years: transmission, lasting value and the mark you leave matter as much as the result.

For whom?

For those who love building a business as much as tasting. A deliberately small circle — 10 participants — of entrepreneurs, executives, investors, creators and personalities who share the same curiosity. First edition, by application.

The Satkāra spirit

Beyond the setting, this immersion carries the Satkāra spirit: time for encounters, the pleasure of slowing down and a taste for things done well. You share a glass before you share a table, and you leave richer for everything you have learned — from the others, from the place and from yourself.

Time devoted to our business theme

Beyond the cellar, several moments of the stay are devoted to our conversations: a business lounge with a coffee break, a round table among members and the conversations that naturally continue over a glass of Franciacorta or among the vines. The group stays deliberately small — 7 to 10 participants — so that everyone has time to tell their story.

A trilingual stay

The immersion is lived in French, English and Italian. The teams at L’Albereta and the Bellavista cellar welcome you in all three languages, and the Satkāra team ensures the link at every step, so you have nothing to worry about.

The climate

In early September, Franciacorta is living its last days of summer: warm, luminous days in the vines, mild evenings on the terraces. A storm is still possible at this time of year. Pack light clothing, a light sweater for dinners on the terrace and comfortable shoes for the cellar and the hills.

Formalities

Italy is part of the Schengen Area. For nationals of the European Union and Switzerland, a valid national identity card or passport is sufficient. For other nationalities, please check your entry requirements with the Italian consulate before booking.

Cancellation insurance is mandatory; it is not included in the stay. We recommend cover that also includes repatriation.

Your journey to Franciacorta

The airports of Milan Bergamo (about 35 minutes by road), Milan Linate and Milan Malpensa (about an hour) are the most direct gateways to Erbusco. We can arrange your flights according to your preferences as well as your private transfer to L’Albereta; this transfer is quoted separately. Would you rather make your own way? Let us know and we will coordinate your arrival times with the programme.

L’Albereta, your Relais & Châteaux retreat in the heart of the Franciacorta vineyards

L’Albereta

More than a hotel: an estate

A family villa

A late-19th-century residence turned Relais & Châteaux, L’Albereta is the work of the Moretti family, whose Bellavista house helped make Franciacorta one of Italy’s great sparkling wine regions.

Hills and vineyards

On the hills of Erbusco, a park and vineyards as far as the eye can see, with Lake Iseo a few kilometres away. Only 53 rooms, suites and villas, decorated like a country house.

A setting like no other

The contemporary sculpture park, the outdoor pool amid the vines and the Cabriolet Suite, whose roof opens onto the sky above the bed: images you will find nowhere else.

A sanctuary for body and mind

The Chenot Espace, the only one of its kind in Italy: nearly 2,000 m² devoted to assessments, hydrotherapy and the Chenot method, extended by the Ristorante Chenot and its wellness menus.

Where wine is passed on

From the Bellavista cellar to the tables of the estate, everything here tells of a family and a terroir. You stay within those very walls.

The spirit of a house

Your premium room

Built at the end of the 19th century among the vines, L’Albereta was first a private residence. The Moretti family, who still own it, simply call it “la Casa” — and each of the 53 rooms has kept a character of its own.

You will stay in a Superior room: 30 m² opening onto the quiet of the park, delicate frescoes on the walls, satins and damasks in warm golden tones. Antique furniture, fine fabrics, generous light: the elegance of an Italian family home with the comfort of a Relais & Châteaux.

Privileged access

The silence of the Bellavista cellars

A heavy door, a staircase, then silence. Beneath the vines, thousands of bottles rest on laths, in the dark. At Bellavista, founded by Vittorio Moretti, the great cuvées are released only after years of waiting.

This is precisely your subject. Committing today to what will not reveal itself for seven years, holding to a standard no one can yet see, giving up the immediate result: wine and business obey the same discipline. In a small group, welcomed by the house, that is what we will talk about — glass in hand.

Four tables, one signature

From artisan pizza to the gastronomic table

Here you do not choose a restaurant: you choose a mood. L’Aurum for the gastronomic table, its menu rewritten with the seasons. Leone Felice for the terrace facing the vines and the lake, the kitchen garden on the plate. Stanza 54 for a glass from the Moretti cellars, late into the evening. And La Filiale, where Franco Pepe, four-time gold medallist at the Best Pizza Awards, brings Campania and Franciacorta into conversation.

Special guest

A leading voice in wine at your side

For this immersion, Satkāra welcomes an exceptional guest: a wine expert recognised on the international stage. He will be the link between two worlds, business and a passion for wine. Guided tastings, conversations in a small group, cross-perspectives on vision, terroir and transmission: he will share his reading of a world where excellence is built over time, exactly as a company is.
